How to Identify Your Gnomestones Birthdate

1d12+2d10 = Year

1d8 = Month

1d10 = Week

1d6 = Day

For example, let's say Tharsqueeks Marfonius the half-elf is trying to determine their birthdate. Our pointy-earned friend rolls the following combination:

d12 = 11

2d10 = 40, 6

d8 = 5

d10 = 3

d6 = 1

Tharsqueeks would be born in the Year 1146 B, on the 3rd Short Day of Yorm. Yikes. For a half-elf living in Octavia, Year 1146 normally wouldn't be all that bad, but in this case Tharsqueeks comes into existence approximately fives months after the wizard Rarfy O'Narfy released the demon prince Kolga'akun in the Valley Haugin. Oh well, better luck next life.

Special cases:

What if I roll above 1243 for my year?

At this time it is unclear if the world of Gnomestones will continue exist past the year 1243. If you get above a 1243, roll 2d10 for your new year. You live in the first century, what an exciting and dangerous time to be alive!

What if I roll a 10 for my week?

Of course, there are only nine weeks in the month.If you roll a 10 for your week, you were born on a holiday! How fun. Forget your birthmonth and instead roll a d6:

1 - Root Day

2 - Shoot Day

3 - Flower Day

4 - Fruit Day

5 - Very Long Day

6 - Very Short Day (sorry!)

What if I roll a 6 for my day?

There are only five days in the week. You have failed Ulfschool. I'm incredibly disappointed in you. Start again or just go home.

There you go! That is how you find your Gnomestones birthdate. Thanks for following along!
